Edie Duncan was one of my most memorable teachers at E.L. Crossley in the 70's. Her enthusiasm and love for teaching was seen every time you were in her class. She inspired learning and the discovery of one's abilities and strengths as a student. Her teaching went from the classroom to the volleyball court where she coached our team. Edie's joy and smiles put others at ease. Edie was one of the most influential teachers I had in my high school days. I appreciate the time I knew her, and am happy to share these memories. It's an honour to be able to send a memorial gift in her name to Cave Springs Camp for kids.
So very sorry to hear of Edie's passing. She will be greatly missed. However, she will be remembered for her hard work and dedication to our church and to Cave Springs Camp. She is truly an inspiration! Our condolences go to Orsen and Mabel and their family. May God be with you at this sad time.

So very sorry to here of Edies’ passing. She was a good person and a friend. She, Shirley Speck, and I shared many fishing trips together, with lots of happy times. Also, trips into the US. Great memories, Edie! May God be with her family.
Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Miss Duncan. She was an exceptional educator who taught with integrity, interest and class. It was a privilege and a pleasure to be in her "typing" (keyboarding now) class and enjoy the fun and the skills of Miss Duncan. She contributed much to the new E. L. Crossley Secondary School in the early 60s. May your memories give you peace and comfort.
