Obituary of Ada Mary Rebecca Fretz

Fretz, Ada Mary Rebecca (nee Lane) (1938 – 2021) - An only child was born to parents Eric and Ada Lane on February 21,1938. Mary passed to be with her Lord and Saviour in her 83 year with the help of her angels on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Beloved and adoring Husband Armand Fretz will forever miss his sweetheart and hold close the wonderful memories they had with one another, Daughters Cheryl and Paul Dick, Briar and Tim Kostesky will cherish Mother Mer for her gentle, loving  and compassionate spirit. Grandchildren Kristin and Seth Dixon, Brent and Christine Kostesky, Becki Kostesky and Evie Mae the poodle will think back to the times of playing Skipo, crossword puzzles and days spent at Elim Lodge, trips to Florida and Myrtle Beach.

Great Grandchildren Lily, Amanda, Chloe Kostesky and Samuel, Gideon Dixon add to the wonderful legacy Grandmer created.

Mary graduated from Brock University and began teaching primary grades. beginning at Kernahan Park and then ending her teaching career at Gainsborough School, Mary touched many children's lives and she loved her students. Some of her students cared for Mary at Vineland Mennonite Home in the last hours and days of her life.

Mary was known for her perfect hair and flawless makeup the soft twinkle in her eye her cute giggle and generous nature. She will be forever loved and dearly missed. Until we meet again in Heaven.

Cremation has taken place.

A private family celebration will be held to honour her life because that is how Mom would have wanted it.
