Rick, Kathryn, David and your families. Carolyn and I are saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Hank. While we are not able to be there in person, please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. You have so many fond memories to cherish forever!
We all grew up together on the family farm early in our lives. I remember we were always hanging out, either at your or Uncle John/Aunt Irma's house. While I was a very shy kid, your parents always made me feel comfortable. Much later on, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend a few days together with your dad, Uncle Walt and my dad fishing up north. He had such a great sense of humour and it was clear to me how much he loved all of you and Aunt Lil. We have all been blessed to be surrounded by such loving families our entire lives.

We recall Mr Janzen with his wife as he was the dear father of our sister in law Kathy. We recall how he would attend virtually every hockey game at the Jordan arena when his grandchildren were playing. We recall the holidays he took his family on as a Christmas gift. He was a kind and soft spoken man who loved his wife and family. He was certainly a man worth immitating. What a wonderful world this would be if we were more like him. We know the memories of him will be a comfort to his family. Caroline and Marcel VanRuyven.

My condolences to the entire family. Many nights I spent with my mom looking out the patio of her apartment in Vineland towards your parent windows late at night and talking about how your father always looked out for your mom. They were fun loving generous people. I hope you cherish the many memories that come up and the wonderful stories that will be told over the next while, I am sure there will be many!

Dearest Janzen Family,
Offering heartfelt condolences with deepest sympathy for your loss. I had the opportunity of bowling with Henry in the old church league at Fairview Mall. It was a pleasure to always see his smile. Always remebered fondly.

Dear Janzen family. We send our sincere condolences to you at this sad time as you say your goodbyes to your last Parent. We remember Hank fondly in different scenarios.I, Frieda from picking cherries on the 3rd street farm and also NIagara street farm. Then more recently when he attended the Monday singalong he sang which was rather unusual the chorus words “ and He walks with me and He talks with me, etc
Peter remembers taking him along to Steve and Aaron’s hockey games and Hank would point out t o everyone “ That’s my grandson”. He was so proud of his grandkids.
May you cherish your many memories.
Peter and Frieda
