Hi Brian, sending you comfort for the loss of your mom. She was a great person and such a big influence on me growing up along with your dad. So many good memories shared with your mom at your parent's house and at church over the years. The stand out memory is working together in the barn during peach season getting the peaches into the cooler and then getting them packed for shipping and the celebration when there were enough ready for the next order to be delivered. - Akio Saito

Dear Brian, I had the privilege of pastoring First Mennonite Church in Vineland in the mid 70's. It was a delight to get to know all the Snyder family. Your mother was a lovely lady and my wife Sheena and I found ourselves often in your home as your Mom exercised her gift of hospitality. She was, and I repeat, a lovely lady. May God continue to comfort you and all family members, and may her memory live with you forever.
Many Blessings to you, Pastor Eric and Sheena Strachan

Dear Brian, thank you for posting notice of your mom's passing in The Record (Waterloo Region's paper). We were away and now took time to view the beautiful memorial service. It was so good to see you, and hear the heartfelt words you shared. Now I know more fully why my mother enjoyed her friendship with yours (birds of feather). May God fill you with peace and love and many fond memories. Our prayers and love will follow you in this time of fresh grief. Most sincerely, Don Penner.

Dear Brian:
I have many fond memories visiting with Eileen over the years. Particularly, we looked forward to lunches after church (The First Mennonite Church in Vineland). I still remember the birthday party you hosted for your mother. It was such fun. You have always been so loving and caring towards your mother. I will remember Eileen often, and I pass on my condolences to you, Brian.

Dear Brian,
We have always enjoyed visiting with your Mother and our Aunt Eileen. She was always interested in us, open minded and no topic was off limits. One visit in particular brings back fond memories.
One beautiful summer day a few years ago, we loaded up our bikes for a trip along the Welland Canal. On the spur of the moment, as we approached Vineland Station, we decided to stop for a visit with Aunt Eileen. Our ringing of the doorbell went unanswered. We knew she was there. The door was open and when we passed the big bay window we could see her watching the Blue Jays game and doing her leg exercises on the couch. We cautiously opened the screen door and went in calling loudly so we would not alarm her. She was delighted to see us. We did do a short bike ride but we promised to return to go out for dinner with her. We had such a lovely time visiting with her. A day we will never forget. Aunt Eileen will be remembered by us as a beautiful person. We are blessed to know her and we will treasure our memories.
