Dear Joanne & family,
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Peter. I have many fond memories of meeting and working with Peter many years ago at the Seaway and then meeting again through church settings. Peter had a great sense of humour and always a twinkle in his eye and He loved His Lord. This was so evident in how he and Joanne opened their home to people and shared their faith. In his gentle and caring way he uplifted and touched many people, including me. He showed genuine interest in a person's wellbeing and always took the time to converse at church. I was also blessed by his knowledge and love of flower gardening when they had their lovely home. When I think of Peter I think of the verse 'in quietness and confidence shall be your strength'.
May our Heavenly Father be your peace and strength during this sad and personal time. I'm so sorry for your great loss but also comforted knowing that Peter is with His Lord. Love Vivianne
Our sincere condolences to the Raakman Family. Praying that God’s Peace and Comfort be with all as you grieve the loss of Peter. We were colleagues at Acres International in Niagara Falls for a number of years. Peter always came with a smile and words to cheer you on.
