Obituary of Frieda Keir

Frieda, Keir - October 12, 1928-September 22, 2021

Mum is free of pain, and safe in the arms of Jesus.  She was a woman of strength ahead of her time in so many ways.

Dearly loved Mum of Nancy (Tony) Carriere, and Trevor Keir (Steve Clegg). Very special Grandma to Amy Carriere-Kenn (Dale Kenn), and Jay (Monika) Carriere. Wonderful Great Grandma to Gavin, Liam, Isaiah, Ethan and Renée. Step Grandma to Tyler. Dear sister-in-law to Queenie Keir. Sister to Alvera Copping, Walter Janzen, and David Janzen.

Predeceased by her beloved and devoted husband, Bill (2018).

Thank you to Dr. Matt Greenway, and staff at Tabor Manor Long Term Care for the love and care they provided to Mom. Tabor was Mum’s home for the past four years, and so many staff became like family.

As a family we rejoice that Mum and Dad are reunited again, walking hand in hand, bathed in the glory of Jesus.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland  on Saturday, October 2 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior.  All provincial COVID protocols will be in place including the wearing of masks.
