As a child I remember very fondly Justina's huge and welcoming smile as I entered her home on a Saturday night-- my parents gathered with other couples as well--men in the basement playing dominoes, ladies upstairs in the living room chatting.
The Warkentin clan being many years older than me, tried also to make me feel welcome which was very kind of them.
A few years ago now, I had the honour of seeing Justina in the St. Catharines Hospital along with Liese, and I noticed her smile was the same welcoming and kind one--even though she didn't feel her best--her quiet strength will be remembered--she was always my personal favourite friend of my Mama and Papa's...
