I’m sorry to hear of Jessie’s passing. Jessie was a good friend to my mother, Leona, for a number of years. I remember her sewing skills well - beautiful work and incredibly talented.

Always enjoyed talking with Jessie whether at Muffin Monday or on chat. She described every detail of her day and the end of the day concluded with the same message - "just having my coffee and snack. Have a good sleep and God bless". She was a great prayer warrior who prayed for many people who probably didn't even know they were on her prayer list! Sure do miss our chats but so happy knowing she is with the Lord and doesn't have to go through another winter. She really didn't enjoy them and wasn't looking forward to the cold weather. How wonderful heaven must be for her!!

One of my favourite memories of Jessie is of her, sitting outdoors on my verandah in Bermuda, bravely sewing away in the heat,on bridesmaids' dresses for Kath & Rogers's wedding.
She was an amazing seamstress and quilter, and I have two of her beautiful quilts, lovely keepsakes.
Now she is safe, in the arms of Jesus, what more could we wish for her.
