Obituary of Isabel Barkwell

Isabel Barkwell (nee Laughlin) - Passed away peacefully at the United Mennonite Home on August 30th, 2016 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Glen Barkwell, her sister Pat Rode, brother Richard Laughlin and her mother and father, Helena and Turner Laughlin. Loving mother of Randy Barkwell, his wife Mandy Halliday and her grandchildren, Pearl and William Barkwell. Isabel was a proud member of the Mack Alumni Association and worked for many years as a nurse at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Later in life, Isabel made many friends at the Silver Spire United Church. Isabel will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humour, and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved. To honour Isabel`s request, she will be privately laid to rest with Glen at the Victoria Lawn Cemetary in St. Catharines on September 2nd, 2016. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Mack Alumni Association Scholarship in Isabel`s name.
