Obituary of Diana Shepherd

Shepherd, Diana Isobel

Diana Isobel Shepherd (Taylor) age 94 of Stoney Creek (formerly St. Catharines and Beamsville), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on Tuesday November 2, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband Doug (2019), parents Henry Thornton and Isobel Taylor, and siblings, Barb Shambleau and Crozier Taylor.  

Di, as she was known to everyone, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spirited bridge and euchre card games and shared those competitive card playing skills with family.  She is now, once again, dancing with Doug.  She will be remembered for her unconditional love of family, deeply missed, and her legacy of love will be carried on by her children, Susan Koons, George Shepherd, Sherrill McMillan, James (Paulette) Shepherd and Andrew (Crystal) Shepherd, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
