Joy was very aptly named as she was truly a Joy filled person. Her faith in Christ was the centre of her life and meant the world to her. Joy was raised in Vineland with her siblings and enjoyed spending time with her family and extended family. Joy went on to graduate from Teachers College in Hamilton Ontario and accepted a teaching position at the Vineland Public School, her alma matter! Joy eventually moved schools several times, teaching at Maywood Public School and as well as Port Weller.
Joy was a dedicated wife and mother, along with her time spent working on the family farm. Joy loved to travel and had many fond memories of many trips throughout North America. No matter what was happening, Joy could be counted on to be a trusted friend and mentor to all.
Well Done, though good and faithful servant..
