I’m sitting here with my dad and we are reminiscing the time Wayford let me do his hair with fancy hair clips. What a trooper to let a little girl do his hair. The story doesn’t end there. Dad and Wayford had to run to the grocery store for something and it wasn’t until they had been walking up and down the isles before dad mentioned to Wayford that he had a beautiful butterfly clip in his hair. He nonchalantly reached up to find his lovely hair clip. They laughed so hard. My most fondest memories of growing up is the Smith’s at our house and the parents always laughing at the dining table! Best childhood ever having two sets of parents. Love Wayford dearly. Dad and I send you all our love during this time of both sadness and joy. Wayford is home with his Heavenly Father. Hanging with my sweet mom. Maybe laughing together!

My deepest sympathy in the passing of Wayford. My memories go way back as a child. It was a great privilege and honor to have known Wayford and he influenced my Christian life greatly. I will miss him but I know we will meet again in our Father's house. My prayers and thoughts are with you Wilma and all your family. May God bless and comfort you in the days that come.
