Dear Freda,
I am so sorry to hear about your husband’s death. I have read the many notes to you regarding how he touched so many lives. He sounds like he was a very special man. You no doubt miss him terribly and are in shock at his sudden, unexpected passing. However, I am sure your children and grandchildren will help you as you remember and share so many wonderful memories which will help you get through the days and months ahead.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers,
Bev Martin Course

Dear Freda and family.
Condolences with the passing of George.
George was a member of our Bible Study group for a number of years on Monday evenings. He was a quiet (not always) unassuming, knowledgeable and a humble person. With his knowledge of scriptures he was an asset to our small group when we met in person and virtually. I was smitten by his knowledge and his ability to read his Hebrew Bible, being able to interpret it and share the translations of various passages with us. He admitted that he did not always understand all of scripture and had as many questions as we do.
I will miss him deeply as will the rest of our group.
May you me sustained and comforted by knowing that George is basking in the glorious light of God Almighty.

Dear Freda and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences with George's passing
It was a long time ago you were here in Alliston but the memories are rich and full of the blessing you both were in our midst.
George opened my eyes to love scripture especially his favorite book: Isaiah, which we studied on Monday nights in you home by the warm hearth. George had such love and passion for his work. The youth loved his candid approach and his love of open ended faith questions.
What a pastor to come and visit me when our first son was born in downtown Toronto. That meant a lot to me.
You have a beautiful family Freda and George will be dearly missed by all.
We are praying for Gods sustaining grace for you all.
sincerely,
Klaas and Brenda Dekker

Dear Freda and family, we are very sorry to hear of your loss. George was such a good man. He was quick to listen, willing to share in honesty, humility and with integrity, always friendly and ready to smile and he did love to explain and expound on favourite scriptures. First in Koinonia and then in Kairos, it was a great privilege and pleasure to work with and learn from him. George you were a good and faithful servant. Well done brother, allan and paula petrie

Dear Frieda and family,
We have known you for so many years and shared lots of special family times together! So many memories of celebrations, good food, laughs and love. George was always ready to share a story or join in a hardy laugh. He was so proud of each you; Frieda, his children and his grandchildren. His ready smile lit up many family gatherings. He tried to have a special and unique relationship with each one, to make them feel like they were his favourite.
George impacted many lives and hearts. He will be fondly missed... Heaven is richer now but our lives will always have a hole that was filled by George, Dad, Opa, Friend, Pastor, Chaplin.
Love and prayers,
Laurie, Aurele and Marc Lessard
