Dearest Carolyn and family,
We are deeply saddened to hear that your beloved James has passed. He was so gentle, kind, dependable and consistent. He always wore a smile and he had time for everyone.
We miss you and James and your children in the pews behind us, your constant faithfulness an example to those whose lives you touch.
God has a plan for each of us. Plans we don't understand. He calls us to lean into Him in our darkest hours. He promises He is with us, providing for us as we place our trust in HIm.
James is dearly missed by his faith community.

To Carolyn, MacKenzie, Maddy, Mitch and to the entire Berg Family,
I have been your Cottage Neighbour and friend for twenty five years. As much as I believe in fate, I believe there's a reason why we share this incredible Lake beside you. James, you were the most knowledgeable, kind and patient father I have ever known. You showed me an important life lesson of family unity and how great things can be accomplished by working together. The Berg family, and I mean every one of you, are the epitome of Family Bond! As much as I'm still in disbelief, my heart is broken for all of you. Even though I believe James is in Heaven, and probably discussing Lift Docks with Tony, I will still hear him through your voices, I will still see him through your tears, and I will always cherish his memory when I see you smile! Our deepest condolences, love Cher, Tyler, Hannah & Harley xoxo

To Caroline, Mackenzie, Maddy, Mitch and the rest of the Berg family,
My deepest, deepest condolences. This is such a terrible loss and there are never enough words in any language to express my deepest sorrow for you all.
Jamie loved and cared for every single one of you so much. He was such a wonderful, calm and talented man. He loved life and chose to live it to it's fullest. He showed me the value of time and how precious it is and to take in the moments while you have them and enjoy them. His 3pm shut down time rule at the cottage and taking in the sunsets he so loved with his family and friends will always be a treasure for me. He is forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed. Truly an Irreplaceable man. So deeply, deeply sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to the family. I had a great pleasure to work with James at Rexroth, and developed great friendship with James who contributed significantly to the success of the Compu-spread busines. Over the year we kept in touch, and got together for breakfast and talked about families, great memory. He was such a smart guy, very organized, and knew everything on handy work.
