It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of George on January 5th, 2022 after battling Vascular Dementia. George grew up in Western Hill, St. Catharines where he went on to own and operate Hudson Welding & Fabricating for 46 years. George was a member of the St. Catharines Central Lions Club, the St. Catharines Business Club, the Royal Order of the Moose Lodge, and volunteered for many Community functions throughout his years. He leaves behind his loving wife; Lynda, of 53 years. Left to mourn are his daughter Dodi (her daughters Reagan and McKenna), his son Heath (Debbi and their sons Nick and Jax), and son George Jr. (Shannon and their sons Val and Kam). George was predeceased by his parents George and Dorothy. George leaves behind his brothers Tom and Ed, his in-laws Dave (Karen), Anne Marie, Charlene, Aunts, nieces, and nephews. George will be remembered for his unlimited generosity, his infectious smile, laughter, and the lasting friendships he made during his time on Earth. A Celebration of Life will be held this summer.

Cremation has taken place.

All Provincial Protocols will be in place for the visitation including the wearing of masks at all times.

The family will receive friends at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Friday January 14 from 1-4 and 5-8:30pm and Saturday January 15 from 12noon – 1pm. A private memorial service will follow. Pre-registration is required for the visitation. Please CLICK HERE to register.
