Wes and I are saddened to know of Clarisse’s passing. She and Doug were our next door neighbours for several years. I enjoyed visiting with Clarisse and listening to the stories of their courtship, imagining her family’s reaction when she brought this “English” boy from a small town in Ontario home and announced she wanted to marry him.
Despite the struggles with her health, she was always cheerful. Her health had deteriorated so badly in the last year they lived here we were grateful that they had moved to The Orchards ensuring that both she and Doug would be cared for.
We would speak occasionally but the restrictions that accompany this pandemic meant being unable to visit in person. She was so proud of you Doug and you Linda and adored those three wonderful granddaughters.
We hope that you find comfort in your memories of that wonderful, smart, caring and capable woman. Wes and Judy Cline53.
