My deepest condolences to Carolyn, her sisters and their families. I will never forget your mom’s laugh and spending many evenings sitting on a chair in the kitchen talking to her while she cooked - she was happy to lend an ear and listen to our teenage problems! Dorothy always made me feel like part of the family and I have a very special place for her in my heart!
Love and hugs

My Sincere condolences to Cynthia, Alison & Ned, Pamela, Carolyn & all family on the loss of your Dear Mother, Grandmother/ Great Grandmother Dorothy.
I first knew Mrs. Blair as a extremely hardworking, dedicated Mother. I became friends with Alison at the Grimsby figure skating club. It never ceased to amaze me how Ali & her sisters got driven from school and home in St. Catharines to their skating lessons. Often being fed enroute. Her dedication to her daughter’s music , skating lessons and other activities had an influence on me.
I knew Mrs. Blair to be a classy woman. A kind, friendly woman with a contagious laugh and beautiful smile who always welcomed me into her home. Dorothy always made time to chat. I awwed at her many talents. Her paintings at the Blair family home years ago, her musical abilities, her delicious desserts. Dorothy was generous enough to share some of her famous recipes with me. The Brownie Torte and Grasshopper pie to name a few!
I realize the loss of your loving Mother is a huge one. May your beautiful memories give you comfort and strength in the days ahead and knowing that your Mother’s self-sacrificing attitude made an impact on others as well.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Joanne Foster ( Dave)
