Obituary of Alfred Jeffrey Warkentin
WARKENTIN, Alfred Jeffrey “Jeff" (1966 – 2022)
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeff Warkentin on January 22, 2022. We are saying good-bye too soon. We are saying good-bye to a loving son, brother, uncle and great friend.
Jeff was born April 30, 1966, the first born to Alfred and Hilda Warkentin. (Predeceased by his mother Hilda). Jeff was a brother to Jayne and (David) Healy and uncle to Jack and Grace Healy.
Jeff resided in the Niagara Region for most of his life. He lived in St. Catharines and spent most of his years in the Ridgeway- Fort Erie area. Jeff was a humble person, who appreciated the simple pleasures. He had a love for spoiling his nephew and niece, cooking and watching car racing. He enjoyed Saturday breakfasts with his dad.
In his younger years, he loved to be out on his snowmobile for hours, enjoyed going to concerts and car races. He enjoyed summer vacations up north.
Jeff helped with the family business in times of need. He served as an employee of Horton CBI and currently, with Hodgson Custom Rolling Inc. A highlight of his career included living in Thailand. For over 20 years, he has proudly worked for Hodgson Custom Rolling Inc. on a variety of custom steel projects; one being the U.S. Airforce Memorial Spires.
We enjoyed many family dinners together and great conversations. There are many special memories of Jeff that will always bring a smile. He will live in our hearts forever. He will be greatly missed by many.
