Obituary of Mary Friesen

Mary Helen (Baerg) Friesen - On Friday, September 9, 2016. Beloved mother, devoted wife and grandmother, and gracious friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 after a lifelong physical struggle with the effects of polio. Predeceased by Gus, her husband of 62yrs, she is survived by her daughters Sandra (Doug) Deline, Darlene (Jamie) Sherwood, and Lenore (Grant) Friesen-Caven, 8 grandchildren: Zach, Mary, Michael, Erica, Roger, Nichole, Matthew and (Samuel predeceased) as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Nora, Kamryn, Chyanne, and Connor. Mary was the middle child of 13 children of John and Mary Baerg. Remaining siblings are Jake Baerg, Viola (Bill) Schmidt, Carole Baerg, and Marjorie (Ron) Beecroft. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL OF TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St, Vineland on Wednesday, September 14th from 2-4 and 7-8:30pm. Funeral Service at Immanuel Baptist Church at Parnell and Vine Streets St. Catharines on Thursday, September 15th at 11:00am.
