Obituary of James Donald MacGregor

MacGregor, James Donald (Don) C.C. PO 1st Class (1934-2022)

Peacefully at Albright Manor Beamsville on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in his 88th year.

Predeceased by his loving wife Eleanor (2014) of 52 years. Cherished father of Brenda and Bruce (Donna). Proud grandfather of Michael and Ryan. Dear brother of Neil (Bev) both deceased, Dale (deceased), Glen (Helen). He was a dear uncle, great uncle and a great great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Linda (Greg), the late Shirley and Albert Boulter and the late Patricia and Bill Taylor.

Don was a long-standing member of BR612 Royal Canadian Legion. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1952-1964. He was an employee of General Refractories for 35 years.

We would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Albright Manor for the excellent care received.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
