Dave & I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you as a family as you grieve the loss of your dad.
May our loving God give you His peace, comfort and strength for each new day.
We have been blessed to live across from your family for close to 25 years.
We have shared so many great memories together of both your dad and mom.
Your dad was always willing to help when we needed an extra hand on the farm,
from helping fix our tractor, lawn mower to even helping Dave feeding the orphan lambs.
We will miss his friendship, laughter and warm conversations.
Our life has been blessed by having your dad as a dear friend who has truly felt like family.
Love & prayers,
Dave & Daph Bakker

We wish to express our deepest sympathies to Leo's family and pray that the Lord will give you the strength that you will need as you mourn his passing. We were privileged to enjoy Leo as our neighbor for 15 years. He was a down to earth, no nonsense kind of guy who's word was his bond. When we would visit with him he would often apologize for the "mess" in his back yard. We never thought of it as a mess. He made numerous attempts to complete some of his projects but just never seemed to be able to spend enough time on just one project to get it done. On Saturday or Sunday evenings in the summertime we would hear him start up his collection and move them around the yard. On Monday morning the vehicles would all still be there but parked in different spots. Leo and Dave would often sit around discussing the problems of the world and just how simple the solutions could be. He'd say, "If a couple of old dummies like us can figure it out, why can't the smart ones who are in charge?". One thing that stood out with Leo was that the conversation nearly always came around to just how much he missed Linda. After all the years that had passed, he was still deeply in love. We will miss his laugh and his smile. Love you Leo.
