Obituary of Joan Gourley-Mack

Joan Gourley Mack, on 18 March 2022, in the comfort of her home passed on to heaven.

Reunited with her husband of many years, Lawrence Mack. Joan will be dearly missed by her loving children Nick McConnell (Kelly), Kate McConnell and step son Alex Mack (Rachelle). Joan is survived by her sister Eleanor Robinson (Ian) of Wales. She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her brother Robert Gourley and her parents John (Jack) Gourley and Ellie Gourley of Belfast Northern Ireland.

Joan had a love of reading, especially poetry. She was a very talented pianist and enjoyed playing every day. Joan will live on in many hearts including her dear friends Rosemary McConnell, Mareea Steedman and friends from Duracell/Gillette Canada.

Special thanks to her wonderful neighbours who showed Joan much kindness over the years. A special thank you as well to Halton Regional Police and Paramedics for their professionalism and support at this very difficult time.

As per Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be planned at a later date.
