Aunt Edith, Brenda, Gord and Doug and your families,
We want to express our most sincere and deepest sympathies on the recent passing of Uncle Walt. Even though life circumstances have meant our connections have been few and far between over the years, the fond memories of our Line 1 neighborhood remain. We are thinking of you all at this time and wish you God’s peace and comfort as you reflect on a life well lived.
God Bless.

Dear Edith and family,
I have many memories of dropping in at your home in Virgil and I was always welcomed. I came to see Edith but Walt was usually around.
Another memory is of Walt shortly before he and Edith married. Our family had rented a cottage and Walt's brother and his family had rented another cottage on this small campus. They had invited Walt who brought up his beautiful wooden boat. Did he make that boat? I had the privilege of first learning to water ski behind an aluminium fishing boat with a 7 1/2 horsepower. Remember, I was just a light weight kid back then. After that I graduated to Walt's boat with 25 horsepower. That sure was fun. And so we spent the week up on Rill Lake. I remember the adults teasing Walt about Edith.
