I learned today of Marks passing. My memories of Mark are inclusive of a man that spoke with such gravity, thoughtfulness and intuition that it was always a pleasure to converse and learn from a person at that level of intellect. I had the occasion to sit in on "tutorials" on the back deck of Butler Cres. with Jake, Mark, Gerry and Gord. It was apparent that through Mark's contributions the student had surpassed the Teacher. He was truly a Philosopher King, far deeper and more learned than most yet a very humble and decent gentleman. I am grateful for his wisdom and the memories he gave to us.
My condolences to the entire Froese family at this most difficult time.
