Obituary of Shirley Mary Sobye

Sobye, Shirley Mary – At Deer Park Villa, Grimsby on Thursday May 5, 2022, Shirley Sobye, aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband Bill Sobye (2002). Loving mother of Debbie (Sobye) Knight, Patricia Sobye, Joe Sobye (Tania). Loved grandmother of Lori (Adam), Jordan (Corinne), Kristin (Mark), Sara (Frank), Dylan (Jen), Tyler, and Riley. Cherished great grandmother of Hunter and Georgia.

Shirley enjoyed tropical vacations in the winter and going to Scotmans Point in the summer. She loved to spend time playing euchre, bingo and poconos and family time was so precious to her. Everyone who knew her loved her funny wit and Scottish charm

The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Park Villa for the care and compassion she received during her time there.

As per Shirley’s wishes a private interment will take place at Mount Osborne Cemetery in Beamsville.
