This is one of my favourite pics of my sister Karen. She was 3 years old I think, and I was a baby. She would line me up on the couch with her dolls and take care of us all. She grew into a caring person, a caring mom and a caring grandmother. She raised two exceptional daughters, Kim and Lindsey, who are now amazing women. She was very involved with her grandchildren. She was caring, a nurturer, patient with children,and full of joy with the little ones. I miss her, and am impressed by what she did in her life. My thoughts are with Zak, Kim and Lindsey for their loss. Love from David. Miss you sister, from brother
Reid & I share a favourite memory of Karen. It was the evening of July 31, 2015 - the night before our wedding. We were scrambling around our wedding venue setting up last minute things, stressed and sweaty in the summer heat inside the reception tent. Karen along with her family showed up to help us and stayed with us into the wee hours of the night until every last thing was setup and in place for our wedding. This act of kindness, compassion and generosity has stayed with us to this day, and we still often talk about how Karen & co. saved the day. Karen, we miss you, we love you. May your memory be for a blessing.
