From the moment I met Gary I knew he was a special soul. He always brought an air of comfort and familiarity to me when he was in my presence, from the dojo to the health food store. Many serious conversations about mental health happened over the counter at Sangsters. To all his family and friends, I'm holding space. For you Else, (((hugs))). He will be missed. My heart is aching. With love and gratitude to have known such a fine gentleman, Victoria

To Else, Matt and Beth and his siblings, I know Gary's life ended tragically but his life and influence on our family was anything but that. Growing up as neighbours Gary took on the role of big brother, uncle and "Dad" at various points in our life and many of the things he said influenced my brothers and I and will continue to for the rest of our lives. The few years he spent working with us at Echo Hill after he retired was a highlight and not many weeks go by without someone saying, well, "Gary Froese always said......". He was a born storyteller and with that twinkle in his eye he wove some great tales, most of them probably even true! I thought of him as a mountain of a man and I will always remember his smile and that special laugh he had. Our thoughts are with you during this time and the time to come.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Gary. I knew and worked with him for a few short years in the toolroom at General Motors. He was a very pleasant man with wonderful skills, he could really make a pile of cuttings on the shop floor. I know he will be greatly missed.

Mr Froese.... he would always say "it's Gary" and I would reply no "it's Mr. Froese". Growing up I got to spend time around Mr. Froese not only on Sunday's but being close in age and friends with both Matt and Beth. He always had a firm handshake and infectious laugh that always made me smile. He was active in our Church and always helping out where ever he could. He brought me along to watch Wrestle Mania's and he and Mrs Froese always opened their house for the youth group to play games or visit the farm on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon. I have many fond memories from my childhood and teenage years being around "Mr. Froese". In adulthood once I had my own children "Mr Froese" always took time to say hello with a big a smile and still firm handshake. He offered to help with my yard and made sure to pull over his car and chat if he was driving by. The world was made better by your Husband/Dad/Brother and he made the world better for those that had the fortune of knowing him.
My thoughts are with you Mrs Froese, Matt, Beth Teresa and all his other family. May the many happy memories push through the clouds to give you strength in this time of grief and sadness.
Mr. Froese may you have found your Peace
