Obituary of Douglas Brian Dowie

Dowie, Douglas Brian - Suddenly, as the result of an accident on Saturday, September 24, 2016, Doug Dowie, aged 63 years, of Vineland Station. Loving husband of Jennifer. Dear father of Catrina, Cassandra & Shauna. Brother of Dave, Kathy and Elaine. Also survived by his mother-in-law Jeanne Easton, brother-in-law Jeff (Val) Easton. Special uncle to Brett, Jessica and Julia. Predeceased by his parents Douglas & Catherine (nee Procyshyn). Doug was an employee of the Town of Lincoln for 40 years until his retirement last year. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of the Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. on Wednesday, September 28, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Memorial service in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with reception following in the Tallman Fireside Room.
