Obituary of Grant Harvey Smith

Grant (Harvey) Smith passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022.  He was in his eighty-ninth year.

Grant and Barbara, his wife of thirty-four years, have created an amazing blended family.children, Erica Robertson, (Drew), Andrew Smith, Lauri Harvery, (Spiro), David Conron, (Liz), Owen Conron, (Laura) and Honourary Daughter Brandie Gairns, grandchildren Kira and James Robertson, Rory Miller, (Rachel), Arden Miller, (Dean), Aliyah, Jillian and Madelyn Conron and Honourary Granddaughters Tavia, Amara and Elina Gairns as well as great grandson Jayson Miller were all part of his family circle.

Grant's family would like to thank the caring staff at Rapelje Lodge in Welland for their expertise, compassion and senses of humour. Despite his struggles, you made him smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13 at 3pm at the Church of Christ in Beamsville, 4900 John St., Beamsville. Visitation will be from 2-3pm followed by the service.
