Obituary of Rudolf Wiens

Wiens, Rudy - Peacefully with his wife and son by his side, Rudy passed away at home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.  He was in his 97th year.  

He will be missed but always loved by his wife, Maria, his children, George (Connie), Robert (Mary), Helen (Rick) and Marjorie (Tim), 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, plus his step-sons Hans (Christine), George (Rita) and Jake, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He will also be missed by his sister, Louise, and her family, and the Wiens family and the Janzen family.  

Rudy was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Katharina Wiens, his brother, Waldemar, his sister, Elfriede, andhis wife, Vera (Janzen) (2006).

A funeral service will be held in the Vineland Chapel at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland, on Sunday, June 12 at 3:00pm with visitation one hour prior. There will be a private reception following the funeral service for invited guests only (due to COVID restrictions).  A private family burial at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery in Niagara-on-the-Lake will take place on Monday.
