My sincere condolences on the loss of a great man!. He and I talked most days at Alexander Place, he always greeted me with a nice smile...we could talk forever about golf and hockey...he would always say "I'd like to be out there golfing today!".as he was watching the tournaments on TV.
May he rest in peace and watch over his beautiful wife Joan. I hope you found the 19th hole!!

Condolences to Gavin and the entire Kellogg Family from the Jordan Oldtimers Hockey League.
Al started our league back in the early 70s and to this day, more than 50 years later, 100 players gather every Sunday night at the Jordan arena. In his later years Al was known around the league as ‘The Commish’ ensuring things ran on time, handing out disciplinary action as required (you’d better be wearing league issued socks!) and sharing the odd drink with the boys.
From the past and present players of the Jordan Oldtimers Hockey League, thanks for the great memories Al, you’ll be missed.

Dear Joan & family & Kellogg family:
I am so sorry to hear about Alan’s death. He had a very busy life and such a sportsman; good long life. I remember your wedding so well and seeing u at Debbie & Ken’s at Christmas over the years. Unfortunately we lost touch and I know Alan gave u lots of TLC the last few years.
I thank Debbie for forwarding this sad news to all the cousins as living in Mississauga, I wouldn’t have known. Please ask one of your kids to get in touch with me-kelamax@rogers.com; 905 276 4632 please. My sincere sympathy, Joan
Love, Maxine Kelly (cousin of Joan)

My sincere condolences to the Kellogg family and Al's many friends.
He certainly had an impact on my early years when he was coach of the Beamsville Braves softball team in the late 50's, early 60's.
With him, we learned about the game, how to win and lose and how to be real team mates. The latter is well supported by annual reunions that take place to this day every year after more than 50 years.
Al certainly made his mark on the sports scene in Niagara.
