    Obituary for Annie Neufeld (nee Berg)

Annie passed away peacefully on Monday July 4, in her 99^th year.  Her son and daughter were by her side as she drew her last breath.  She was born in southern Ukraine.  She and her family came to Canada as refugees in 1948.  Annie was always grateful for all the blessings the family received by living in Canada.  Left to remember her legacy are sons Will (Josie), John - deceased (Marlene) and daughter Laura, (Iain - deceased) 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and brother Peter (Annie).  She is pre-deceased by her husband, Johann Neufeld.

Annie had many jobs during her work career but spent the last 15 working at Warren Knits.  When she retired, she volunteered for many years at The Heidehof and at the MCC Benefit Shop.  The family would like to thank all the staff at Tabor Manor who cared for Annie.  She was always treated with kindness and respect.

A service of Remembrance & Celebration for Annie will be held on Thursday July 14 11:00 a.m. at Tallman Funeral Homes in Vineland (3277 King St, Vineland).   For those wishing to view the livestream please click this link.  Livestream - Annie Neufeld. Reception to follow.  Interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St Catharines. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to  Mennonite Central Committee – Ukraine Emergency Response
