Obituary of Tibor Markovits

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Tibor Markovits at SCGH on Friday July 8, 2022, at the age of 66.

Loving husband to Mary (Dirks) Markovits. Devoted father to Ryan (Jen), Leigha (Brad) and Jillian (Scott). Proud grandfather to Kaiya, Jaxen, Dexter, Easton; Vinny, Matteo, Selena; Gage and Maxx.  Beloved son to the late Alex and Georgina Markovits. Brother to Andrea (David) Bronstein.

Tibor is fondly remembered for his sense of humor, as a fun-loving, smiley, sports-loving, sports fanatic, sports, sports, sports, sports and more sports. He was hilarious, a good man, kind, one-in-a-million, witty guy with a heart of gold. This world, and our world, will never be the same without this legendary man in it.

The family will receive friends at Central Community Church ( 680 York Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake), for visitation, on Tuesday July 12, 2022, at 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.

Funeral service will be held at Central Community Church ( 680 York Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake) on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 10:30am.

If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
