Obituary of Kenneth Wellington Hodgins

Hodgins, Kenneth - It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Hodgins of Jordan Station, well known as Bumpa and Grandpa, announce his passing.  His kindness, great sense of humour, infectious belly laugh and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was the husband to Anne (Peters)(deceased) and father to nine children.  He leaves behind Debra (Brian) Doucette, Robin (Lorri) Sicoli, Kim Hodgins (Brian Martin), Ken (Marlene) Hodgins, Kelly Hodgins(Clovis), Margo (Chris) Jakobschuk, Chris (Brenda) Hodgins, Carter Hodgins (Lori Higgins), Jonathan Hodgins (Brenda Keown).

Predeceased by his parents Glen & Hazel Hodgins, sister Patricia Drake and one grandson Kenneth Carter Wellington Hodgins.

Survived by brothers Don (late Pat), John (Cecile) and Bob (Linda) and sister Joyce (late Harry) Breadman and many brothers and sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lovinly known as Bumpa to his 24 grandchildren and 15 precious great grandchildren.

Ken a.k.a. Bumpa, lived his life truthfully and honestly as humanly possible.  He was generous to a fault, stubborn and forthcoming with advice and knowledge.  He loved to garden and tinker with small engines.  Well known to the local Tim Hortons, with sometimes multiple daily runs; his therapy he called it.  He loved life with no regrets.

We will all miss him.

A private family service has been arranged.
