Shelly, Braydon, Dalton and Nolan,
Theo was a character! I knew him when my big brother played hockey with him and then later in years when our kids got to to team up together for quite a few years. I have some great memories of early morning practices, games, and some family fun times!
The pride he showed for his boys was amazing! He was and will always be their #1 Fan!
Happy I bumped into Theo a few months ago and had a good chat and catch up! Always a hug and laugh...in spite of his fight! Amazing!
Theo....knowing I'm a Habs fan and would razz me anytime they stunk.....I will dream big for Leafs this year .... Just for him! Go Leafs Go!!
Sincere Condolences Procyshyn Family

I found this poem and I thought it was appropriate..
Whether they are the result of joy or sorrow,
tears are a response to emotions
for which we can find no words.
They reveal our most vulnerable self.
When we cry we are releasing the pain of the loss,
not the memory of the one we cherish.
The most dramatic rainbows
seem to follow the most severe storms.
Now when my eyes overflow,
I use a guided imagery technique
to visualize my tears washing away the pain
that I carry inside my heart and soul.
And when they finally stop,
I look for the brilliant rainbow of love and hope.

Oh Procyshyn family!
My heart aches over the loss of Theo. He was truly a staple with the Hettrich clan whenever we visited Canada. his generosity, good humor and gregariousness was always present and the family was so generous over the years to give us so many memories of great reunions at the farm. Theo was always the life of the party the who hayrides to the little ones, the ad hoc sports competitions, the great food and tents where family gathered and shared stories and spent time together...it's so much a fabric of MY life. It's hard to believe Theo is gone, but I'm sure he's at peace, and livening up the heavens while he's at it.
Theo is irreplaceable but his boys have so much of him in them, they will carry on in spirit. I am SO very sad i cannot come up for the funeral and it pains me i can't share in the hugs and stories and support. Please know I share my deepest and sincerest sympathies to you all and will be there in the future to show my love in person.
With love and prayers, Darcy Hettrich

Theo always greeted me the same way I suspect he greeted many of us. “Hi, cuz” he’d say and then go in for the hug. Not a pretend hug, a real encompassing hug. He was family.
Theo spent much of his life in orchards & vineyards. I’d like to paraphrase author Philip Pullman because it seems so right for Theo:
“When you go out of here, all the particles that make you up will loosen and float apart; they’re part of everything. All the atoms that were them, they’ve gone into the air and the wind and the trees and the vines and the earth and all living things. They’ll never vanish. They’re just part of everything.”
So while we must say goodbye to Theo, we’ll greet him again in every bite we take of fresh fruit and with every sip of wine. He’ll never vanish.

Theo was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a friend and a relative to LOTS of people. He was loved by all of them and of course, he will be sadly missed by ALL.
For me, He was a CUZ and a friend. Although a difference in age and distance separated us, whenever we had the chance to meet, the camaraderie was always there. The little time we spent together at different family visits and venues will always be fondly remembered.
To all those that knew him, I am sad he is gone but I am also happy he is no longer suffering.
Shelley, the Boys, Papa & Mama, Sis and Harold, Theo is now in a higher place where he can continue to love and watch over you.
Our sympathies are with you

We have so many wonderful memories of Theo and Shelly the Procyshyn family @ the farm. Many an hour was spent on the hill-on the porch of the family home talking and laughing and telling stories.
Theo and Shelly always made us feel at home and asked us to stay as long as we liked.
Theirs was a house where the door was always open, everyone was always welcome. It was our home-away-from-home, our retreat, our go-to when we needed a good laugh, a good time and a good meal.
Seeing Theo wave from his tractor while we were rocking on the porch is a sight I will truly miss. His stories, his sly sense of humor, his sparkly, mischievous eyes...they will live on in my heart forever. He was my favorite "Cuz", and a perfect namesake for our only son.
Theodore. We will miss you beyond words.
With Love and a Grateful Heart,
The Coopers- Devon, Steve and Theo "Jr."

From my family to yours -
Theo was a very kind man that we were so happy to know. He had the ability to be warm and comfortable to people and although Dustin only played one season of hockey with Nolan we really enjoyed the talks at the rink.
Very often we do not look past our initial impressions of someone but the Berry family is so happy to have had the chance to get to know Theo.
He was such a positive man that cared so much for his family and those he met - we will miss him.
