Obituary of Laura Cheevers

Cheevers, Laura (August 10, 1929 – December 24, 2022)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Laura Cheevers on December 24, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Leo Cheevers (2000). Cherished mother of Cathy McNiven (Mike) Patty McAnally (Gregg) and Lorrie Cheevers. Laura was a loving grandmother to Mark (Cassie), Katie (Crick), Todd (Julia), Beth (Aaron), Andrew and Erin. She was affectionately known as GG to her great grandchildren Dev, Eli, Evan, Ellie, Taylor and Jacob. Laura will be sadly missed by her dear sister, Eleanor Condotta and her many nieces and nephews.

We all feel so grateful to have called you Mom, Gramma, GG, sister, aunt: you are forever in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grimsby on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King Street, Vineland from 1pm until 3pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
