George, Ellen and Christa, I remember your parents fondly from NUMC and in later years we would meet on occasion at Pleasant Manor. Often in the chapel as I along with my parents watched the Sunday morning service live streamed from church. They were always warm and friendly. I am so sorry for your loss.

Uncle George, now you are in the presence of the Lord, David in the old testament has said this...Psalm 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
2 Corinthians 5, also says what your father lived and believed..…7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we aspire to please Him, whether we are here in this body or away from it.…Your father was my Sunday school teacher, and he left an impression on me, but that wouldn't come till later on in life, when I accepted Christ, so, your father had a part in my life that would turn me to Christ, which I am eternally grateful for. May what your father taught all of you also have an impression on you, as it did with me.
1 Thessalonians 4:13...Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
It was an absolute pleasure AND honor to know your father, God bless and comfort you guys as you go through the loss of your father, and look to the blessed hope of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Our condolences, George And Heidi Heidebrecht✝✝
