It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Herbert (Jacob) Reimer, on January 8, 2023 just weeks away from his 88^th birthday.  Devoted husband to Kathy for over 56 years, and loving father of Ed and Marian (Jeff) Friesen.  Beloved Opa to Nicholas, Aaron, Emily and Tommy.  Brother to Erich (Anne) Reimer.   Dad leaves behind a loving extended family and many friends.

Our family extends sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at Lindenhaus/Heidehof where he received excellent support during his battle with Leukemia.  Gratitude is also extended to the team at the Walker Cancer Centre for their kindness and care.

Visitations will be Thursday, January 12^th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 13th from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the St. Catharines United Mennonite Church, 335 Linwell Rd, St. Catharines. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 13^th at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Catharines United Mennonite Church, followed by internment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery and refreshments back at the church. 

For those interested in giving, the family would appreciate donations to MCC Canada or  Canadian Bible Society.    A donation of blood through Canadian Blood Services in Herbert's honour would also be appreciated
