Walter Klassen

1929-2023

Our dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went home to be with his Lord on January 16, 2023. Devoted husband to Grace close to 70 years, loving father to Pearl (Floyd), Joy, Mark, and Tim, grandfather to Timothy (Amanda), and Opa (great-grandfather) to Zachary, Lydia, and Anna. Walter leaves behind a loving extended family and many friends. 

Walter had a strong faith, praying every night for his children, grandchildren,  great-grandchildren, and siblings. At times his prayers were very long.

Walter was a faithful Sunday School teacher for many years. He loved to paint and teach others to paint, and was a very happy man with a fishing pole in his hand.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 10am at Immanuel Baptist Church,  605 Vine St., St. Catharines, followed by the funeral (same place) at 11 a.m. Interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery with light lunch to follow back at the church.
