Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family the evening of Friday January 27, 2023, at the NHS St. Catharines site, in her 97^th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Emslie (2007). Cherished mother of her boys Doug and Bruce Emslie, and much-loved mother-in-law to Colleen and Kim. Dearly loved Grandmother of Dan Emslie (Stephanie), Brooke Kernahan (Matt), Kelly Shewfelt (Dan), Matt Emslie (Andrea) and Steven Emslie (Victoria). Treasured Great Grandmother of William and Olivia Kernahan, Liam, Emmett, and Evelyn Emslie, Heidi and Jake Shewfelt, and Andie Emslie. Adored sister of Marjorie Summers (Bill). Predeceased by her parents Walter and Emily (Eborn) Woodwards, her siblings Bob Woodwards (Janet), Dennis Woodwards (Viola), Doris Robertson (Andy), Eileen Davidson (Harold). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours.

A special thank you to the hospital staff on the Orthopedic 5^th Floor (Station D) for their exceptional care during her short stay, and to her family Dr. Brian Kerley for his years of care.

The family will welcome friends for visitation at the Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King Street, Vineland, on Tuesday January 31, 2023. Visitation hours will be from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral will be celebrated in the chapel, Wednesday February 1, 2023, at 12pm with luncheon to follow.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
