Obituary of David Peter Prudden

David Peter Prudden Born August 19 1947 Died January 29 2023 at home surrounded by family.

Survived by his loving wife of 56 years Marilyn (Sullivan) Leaving behind his favourite oldest daughter Sharon (Erik) and favourite youngest daughter Jennifer (Paul). His beloved grandchildren Jordan, Victoria and Amanda. He will be missed by his sisters Kathleen (Charlie), Nancy, and Mary (Julio). And brothers Jim(2021), Stephen, Joe (Joanne), and Mark (Elda). And also he’ll be sadly missed by his bro’s from Toledo Scale.

David was born in St.Catherine’s and grew up in Port Dalhousie. He worked for Toledo Scale for 30 years. He enjoyed working on old cars, his fishing trips and card games with friends. Even loosing his eye sight at 49 he was still able to renovate and fix anything he set his mind too. You could find him working in the yard and garage with the blue jay game playing on the radio. And later in life he loved spending time with his grandchildren, children and beloved wife.

He will be terribly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

Funeral will be held on Thursday February 2 at 11:00am at TallmanFuneral Homes (3277 King St., Vineland). With reception to follow in the fireside room

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian National Institue for the Blind specifically Retinitis Pigmentosa.
