Obituary of William Eikelenboom

Eikelenboom, William (Born June 25, 1938) – It is with great sadness that the family of William Eikelenboom announces his passing on March 7, 2023 in his 85^th year in Smith Falls, Ontario.

Cherished husband of Jenny Eikelenboom nee Scholman (predeceased). Loving father of his children Rick (Gail), Deb, Nancy, and Dan (Jill). Grandfather of Stephanie (Anita) Cody, Justin Lauren (Matthew), Devon, and Chris (Ty). Great grandfather of Nathan, Liam & Katlyin. To be remembered by his sibling Mary (Martin) Termorshuizen (sister). Predeceased by Gerald (brother). Will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to thank each and everyone for your prayers and the numerous ways of support in reaching out during this difficult time.

During this time, we need to stop and thank each and every Doctor and health care worker that truly showed their care and compassion during Bill’s extended stay in hospital, the family will be forever grateful.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Perth Smith Falls District Hospital would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St., Vineland) on Friday March 10, 2023 from 6-8pm.  A public graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek, ON) on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 9:30am.  For those wishing to follow the funeral procession please gather in the Providence Church parking lot (4845 King St, Beamsville, ON) at 8:30am to leave for the cemetery at 8:45am.
