Our Goertzen family lived just down the road from the Hambleton family for many years. Fran was a quiet soft spoken woman with a big heart. As a child, I (Carolyn) spent time at the Hambleton home when I befriended their foster child, Vera whom your family embraced and showed much needed love to. In the past few years, your mom attended the VUMC pancake supper, and I always made a point to speak to her. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as you mourn your loss,
