Obituary of Josette Astrid Racheter

Josette Astrid Racheter, (Grandmaman), passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Sunday March 19, 2023 with family by her side.

Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King Street Vineland, on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 starting at 10am, followed by a funeral service at 11am.

Josette was born in Bern, Switzerland to Cecile Hanggeli and Ernest Eichenberger on August 4, 1936. She was an avid gardener and always had a needlework project on the go.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Robert; children: Liliane, d. Francis (Janice), d. Christian (d. Isabelle) and Nicole (David); grandchildren and great-grandchildren: d. Michael (Kate), Paul and his daughter Catherine, Scott, Daniel (Danielle) and their children Catherine and Emilie, Caroline (Alexandre) and their daughter Sophie, Jean-Marc (Lauryn) and their daughter Amelia, Eric (Alyssa) and their son Beckham; her sister, Madeleine; & her extended family in Canada and abroad.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the  Diabetes Association or Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
