I am very, very sad to hear of this sad news and I wish to express my deepest condolences to Susan’s family. I was Susan’s physician for a number of years. She was a truly special individual who was always kind, optimistic and cheerful. I always enjoyed her many visits in my office, always accompanied by her wonderful husband, and occasionally also by her warm son from Ottawa.
I will always cherish the special gifts she gave me over the years, and they will help maintain my memory of this beautiful person.
I will miss Susan very much, and she is that rare patient who made the practice of medicine a joy. It was an honour and privilege to have served Susan. Dr Andy Lam, Grimsby
