Obituary of Henry Arthur Joseph Pharand

Henry Arthur Joseph Pharand passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at McNally House. Henry was born in Kearney, Ontario to Orville and Irene Pharand on April 12, 1944. Henry loved the outdoors and spent his earlier years fishing and hunting. Later, he enjoyed spending his time outside in his gardens and with his family.

Henry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn, his children Steven (Raylene), Michelle, and Gregory (Cvita). He was proud of all of his grandchildren, Audry, Renée, Nicholas (Rhiannon), Steven Jr, Faith, and his great grandsons, Mason and Henry.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Palliative Care Team of West Niagara (St. Elizabeth’s) and to the staff and volunteers of McNally House. His stay was brief, but the care was excellent. Cremation has taken place. As per Henry’s wishes, his ashes will be scattered and there will be no formal service.
