Obituary of Mabel Jean Kaiser

Kaiser, Mabel Jean (nee Geddes) - Born February 26, 1926 in Cannington, ON. Wife of the late Alfred Devins Kaiser (1991). Step-mother of Terry Alfred Kaiser and the late Nancy Mae Stone. Grandmother of Jennifer Kaiser Stevenson, Robert Stone, Peter & Joanne Stone, Sage Stone Payne and James Stone. Great Grandmother of 10 and great great grandmother of 4. Devoted friend of the MacGlashan/Moore clan. Daughter of the late Kenneth Smith Geddes and Mary Ellen Street. Mabel worked for the Conservation Authority while living in Woodbridge, a time in her life she recalled often with fond memories. Her tireless volunteer work with the Canadian Cancer Society for over 50 years was recognized by the Town of Lincoln with a Citizen of the Year Award, and further recognized by the province, with a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. Mabel treasured nature and the people in her life. Her genuine interest in her friends and family and what they were doing was her greatest trait. Her network of friends was diverse and plentiful, all of whom she kept in touch with throughout her life. Funeral service to be held in the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland, on Monday November 7 at 12 noon with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or SPCA would be appreciated.
