Obituary of Ena Cillis

CILLIS, Augusina Mackenzie

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Ena Cillis (Harris), passed away peacefully with her family around her on April 20, 2023 in her 81st year.

She is predeceased by her beloved parents, William and Jenny and survived by her three children Sarah (Curtis), Tasha and Calum, as well as “the best grandchildren in the world”, Oliver, Rooney, Maryn, Evelyn, Harper and Alice. She will be fondly remembered by her family and lifelong friends and her church community as well as Brendan and Stacey who called her “mom” for a number of years.

During joyful times, Ena was the life of the party! She loved her coffee, musical theatre, engaging in debates, her homeland of Scotland and her most favourite book "To Kill a Mockingbird". Hopefully she’s enjoying a cup with Harper Lee right now. 

Much gratitude for the excellent and sensitive care given by the nursing staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital during her brief hospital stay.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date and you can be certain there will be showtunes involved! 

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to your local musical theatre company would be appreciated by the family.
