Obituary of Henry Harder

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Henry Harder on May 7, 2023 at Lindenhaus at the age of 96. He is happily reunited with the love of his life, Mary (2017). He worked as a cutter grinder for General Motors for 30+ years. He worked hard for his family and was able to take us on many vacations to the north.

In 1982, they purchased a cottage. This was his dream come true! Every summer was spent there enjoying God’s beautiful north. Great joy was brought to them when the children and grandchildren came to visit.

He leaves to mourn his two daughters: Marianne & Ed Enns and Ursula & Peter Krugel; his five grandchildren: Tanya & Jesse Vidal, Aaron & Ashley Enns, Ryan & Jessie Krugel, Julie Enns and Victoria & Shane Wall; and his six great grandchildren: Levi, Mason, Jace, Veronica, Sierra and Rylann.

The family will receive friends at St. Catharines United Mennonite Church (335 Linwell Rd) on Friday May 12^th from 9:30am to 11:00am, with the funeral service in the church at 11:00am. Following a luncheon in the church auditorium interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
