Obituary of Ronald James LaPointe

Ronald LaPointe March 15, 1958 – May 9, 2023

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a husband, father, Poppa, brother, and friend.

Loving and devoted husband and best friend to Kathy (Brewer) for 42 years. Doting Dad to Kristine (Bryan) Bale, David LaPointe, Melody (Christopher) Badali, and Katie (Gregg) Sagloski.

Adored and loved Poppa to Ian, Kory (Kianna), Jack, Megan, Mekala, Charlotte, Cara, and Travis. Poppa R to great grandchildren Parker and William. His happiest moments in life were spent making memories with his loving grandchildren.

He will also be deeply missed by his sister Joanne, his best bud brother-in-law Gary, his sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.

Ron’s passion was golf and he will be dearly missed by all his golf buddies “The Misfits”. In the winter months he enjoyed his hobby of curling at the Welland Curling Club on his team “Bob’s Buddies”.

Ron was the proud owner of his company Ron’s Lawns for 38 years and will be missed by all his loyal customers and employees.

Cremation has taken place.

The family will receive friends at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Tuesday May 16, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday May 17 at 11am with reception to follow.
